Rixi is the quintessential chaos technician: she's clever, quick-witted, and just enough of a gremlin to be dangerous with nearly any tool. She always seems to have a smirk on her face that rarely fades. She's very loyal to her friends and fiercely disloyal to anything resembling boredom. She's a born improviser with a gift for spotting shortcuts (ethical or not). While she isn't openly sentimental, she keeps every sarcastic nickname, inside joke, and small tradition alive with consistent care. She is not deeply religious but the Prophets do play a role (albeit a small one) in her life.

Personal History		Rixi grew up in the coastal city of Jalanda in Hedrikspool Province on Bajor, the youngest and loudest child in the family. Though she was born after the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor, she saw the lasting effects on her parents and extended family and so spent so much of her childhood attempting to make others smile and laugh. She had an early aptitude for systems troubleshooting that led her into an engineering apprenticeship at the age of 16, where she developed a knack for slicing through red tape and getting things done--sometimes before her masters even noticed something was broken. At 18, her name was put forward by the Jalanda City Youth Engineering Society (JCYES) for the Starfleet Academy entrance exam but never wrote the exam. Instead, she attended a three-year technical program on Bajor and graduated with a technical degree in Systems Maintenance. After two years working on Bajoran transport ships as a maintenance technician, she enlisted in Starfleet and completed a two-year program in Systems Management and Diagnostics.
Service Record		2364: Born in Jalanda City, Bajor. 2381: Enrolled in a technical college on Bajor. 2384: Graduated from college with a technical degree in Systems Maintenance. 2384-2385: Served two years aboard Bajoran transports serving numerous destinations including Bajor, Deep Space Nine, Cardassia Prime, Starbase 375, etc. 2385-2387: Enlisted in Starfleet and completed a two-year program at the Starfleet Engineering Academy Annex on Triex. 2387-2389: Assigned to USS Invictus as Engineering Technician (six months). 2389: Assigned to USS Astrea as Engineering Technician.
