| General Overview | : Keel is a stickler for the rules and doesn’t give even an inch for them to be broken or stretched, the end result of a chaotic childhood and upbringing. He does relax slightly when off-duty, enjoying the occasional beer, and game of chess. | Personal History | - Grew up in the Rigellian colonies, the eldest son of two hippy-leaning parents. The chaos and disorderliness of the household deeply affected him as he grew up, pushing him to focus on his academic and sporting life in order to get out of there. - As soon as he could, he signed up to the Starfleet Marines at the age of 17. Upon graduating high school, Keel went off to basic training, and found the order and discipline he craved in the Marines - Once commissioned as an officer, Keel took great pleasure in being posted across the Federation and aboard Starfleet vessels. As his service went on he found himself becoming interested in the finer diplomatic aspects of Starfleet’s work. - Transferred to the Academy to take an accelerated Starfleet course, and turned out as an officer in the diplomatic corps. - Served in Diplomatic Officer, and Assistant Chief Diplomatic Officers positions in the six years previous to transferring to the Astrea. This would be his first CDO job. |
