Mission: The Menagerie II
Location: Jason's Quarters
Timeline: MD 2, late

T'lenn's second venture to Freecloud had been even more eventful than the first. It had been a rather taxing week for the Vulcan as she did her best to pretend she was not Vulcan and navigate not only the personal drama among her fellow crew, but unexpected developments with the mission. She was acutely aware that Jason was most likely concerned for her well-being. The incident with Sub-Commander Acaincus had most likely caused a stir among the crew.

Considering all of this was at least one of the reasons that T'lenn made a point to make haste to Jason's quarters once she had returned and was relieved until regular duties resumed. Because it still seemed impolite to her not to, T'lenn activated the chime at Jason's door indicating her arrival.

Jason had just gotten out of the shower, and wrapped the towel he was drying off with around his waist, as he grabbed another to finish drying his hair. "Enter," he called out, curious as to who was calling on him at this time of night. He hoped it wasn't any bad news about T'lenn.

When the doors opened for her T'lenn stepped through them greeting Jason. "I apologize for the hour my ashalik. The Captain had me complete an assignment once we returned before I was officially released from duty."

Seeing T'lenn's beautiful face, Jason beamed brightly with love and affection. He first greeted her in the traditional manner of a Vulcan mate, then, he wrapped his arms around her. Greeting her in his way, pulling her in and kissing her deeply.

T'lenn returned Jason's embrace as their lips met, noting the bare skin of his back felt hot against the palms of her hands. When their lips parted she spoke again. "I appear to have found you in a state of undress."

He gave her a lop-sided grin as he replied. "I just got out of the shower," he kissed the side of her neck as he continued. "Of course, I could take another one with you, if you wanted to take one?"

"Has the scent of the crowded nightclub imprinted itself on me so strongly such as to offend even Human senses?" T'lenn asked, taking a small step away from Jason, reaching down for his left hand with hers as she did so. She was not offended, her question was genuine and matter-of-fact.

Shaking his head, he grinned at her. "Not at all, sweetheart. He interlocked his fingers with hers and pulled her back against him.

"Still, a shower would be logical," she replied, her gaze meeting his.

He gave her a hungry grin, clearly having more than just a shower on his mind. As he started to help her undress, he kissed the flesh that became exposed. "Very logical," he whispered heavily into her right ear, his hot breath causing goosebumps to appear on her tanned skin.

With patience T'lenn carefully placed her jacket over the back of one of the kitchen chairs, and then folded her shirt properly and placed it on the seat. She perched on the edge of the same seat to remove her boots.

Jason knelt down in front of her, and helped her unzip and remove her boots, his eyes, filled with clear desire for her, locked on hers. As he lifted each leg and pulled her boots clear, he placed gentle kisses on her long, toned legs.

"It appears as though you may have missed me," T'lenn stated observingly as she noted Jason's attentiveness to her as she undressed. Despite his obvious advances she continued undressing simply as if she were in the middle of a chore, standing to slip off her undergarments, laying them neatly over her clothes. She then offered Jason her hand before walking toward the washroom to shower.

As they moved together, Jason pulled her to him, the towel around his waist falling away. "I miss you every time we are apart, beloved," he whispered into her ear. He then gently nibbled on her earlobe.

T'lenn's head fell to the side slightly as she leaned into his kiss. "I missed you as well."

Her reply would have sounded dispassionate to anyone who didn't understand Vulcans, but T'lenn's body language told a different story. She turned her body so that she was facing him and after kissing him once on the lips began pushing him back away from the shower and toward his bed. "The shower can wait."

A look of pure love and devotion filled his face as they fell together on his bed. While he had been in a couple brief relationships over the past few years, this woman did things to him that no one else had. She did more than draw him in with her beauty and intelligence, she filled his heart and soul with her very presence. He knew that he had made the right choice, in asking her to marry him. "I love you so much," he said softly, his voice full of pure love for her and her alone.

"I am aware," T'lenn replied, her voice carrying a different type of intensity than Jason's soft words with her had. She looked him in the eyes and spoke seriously, "And you are aware my emotional affections toward you. However, after a few days apart, I believe now is a good time for us to focus on more... physical desires."

He smiled a hungry smile, then leaned in, kissing her deeply.

Later

Still breathing heavy, though his body was calming from the high levels of euphoria that he and T'lenn had just experienced. "What...what was that thing you did at the end there?" He gave her a drunk grin as he turned his face towards her, laying in his arms.

T'lenn propped herself up in bed, sitting still in the crook of Jason's arm. "It would be wise of me to not reveal to you all of my secrets. A measured amount of intrigue is healthy in relationships, is it not?"

With one hand T'lenn reached up and tenderly ran her fingers through Jason's hair.

He chuckled softly at her words, then closed his eyes and enjoyed the tender touch over his scalp. "You're right, of course, sweetheart. Still, it was amazing!" He reached up and gently ran his fingers over her bare back. "As are you, my love."

"I believe it is you who is the exceptional one in this relationship, my beloved, as you were the one to convince me to open my mind to new ideas," T'lenn replied. She thought for a moment about whether or not to inquire something of him, then realized it was very late.

"Perhaps I should take a shower now, so that we may get some rest. That is, assuming that you wish me to spend the night?" She asked.

Knowing her, as he was starting to, Jason moved his hand from her back, up to gently cradle the side of her face as he sat up next to her. "What is it? You started to say something just now." His voice was soft, free of any judgement.

"It might be a longer conversation for later. Perhaps in the morning after some rest," T'lenn suggested. "However, I am curious as to whether you would be agreeable to taking a trip to Vulcan in the near future."

He smiled as he replied. "I would go anywhere, so long as you were by my side, T." He leaned in and gave her a gentle kiss on her lips, before leaning back and continuing, "And yes, I want you to stay."

"I believe that it would be well-received by my family if we were to make our formal engagement announcement there. If you think that your parents would like to participate we would obviously need to make arrangements for when everyone is available." T'lenn looked at Jason's face with her usual calm expression. "Unless you feel that would be rushing the process, of course."

He thought about it for a couple beats, then shook his head. "No, I think it would be perfect! My parents already know that we are an item, and are very eager to meet you. It would be perfect to have both families in one place, when we make our announcement."

"And you believe that you are ready to meet my parents? And for me to meet yours?" She asked by way of confirmation.

"I do, and I do." He replied with a happy, lop-sided grin on his face, as his ocular implants shifted to take on a soft blue color. "How about you? Are you ready?"

T'lenn nodded. "Yes, I am."

He smiled brightly, then wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against his bare chest. For a few moments, they just sat there, in bliss. Then he finally spoke softly. "So now, we need to figure out when to take some leave together, so we can plan everything out."

"After this mission? Or is that too soon?" T'lenn suggested.

Jason shook his head happily. "Not for me, my love. I'm excited and looking forward to starting the next chapter of our life together."

"If that is so then I shall send a message to my parents tomorrow and tell them to prepare for guests." T'lenn planted a gentle kiss on Jason's lips. She stayed close, her lips and nose grazing his as she softly spoke her next words. "You will make a handsome groom, though we must practice your tea service."

Jason could feel his passion start to rise again, from T'lenn's proximity. "Sounds like a good plan, t'nash-veh ashaya," he replied in a husky voice as he wrappedhis arms around her and slowly rotated them back down into the bed. "But for now, there's other things I want to keep practicing." He kissed her deeply, as he reached out to the end table and pressed the control to extinguish the lights.
