An hour and a half later, Osirin came out through the curtain again. He finally found Kash ten minutes later.
"I was fortunate," he commented as he walked up to the Andorian. "I made a few credits. Come, let's go back to my place."
With a mischievous smile he added, "My family is away for another two hours, but I'm sure we can find something interesting to do while they're gone. It will give me a chance to test my theory about what else your antennae are good for."
"This day has been nothing short of interesting," Kash commented. "I'm glad I ran into you."
"I am glad we ran into each other too. I enjoy studying new cultures and getting to know new people and I've enjoyed getting to know you so far. I'm hoping we can get to know each other even better."
"How far away is your place?"
"It's about a mile from here, but it shouldn't take long to get there. We're not to this point yet, but I am curious, do Andorians hold hands?"
"We do," Kash responded. "Though it's not that big of a deal. What does it take before someone is 'at that point' in Akadian culture?"
"It's not so much the length of time that two people know each other, but how close they are. Sometimes it happens on a second date, sometimes a third. It's different from Andorian culture. it's not as intimate as sex, but it's not something done casually."
"So if we aren't there yet, what made you think to ask me about it then?" Kash pressed, a mischievous smile forming on his lips.
Osirin moved closer to Kash, "Because, I think I like you and am looking for something more than a quick fuck and I don't hold hands with one night stands."
There was a twinkle in Kash's expression as he unintentionally dropped his gaze to Osirin's lips and fought the urge to kiss him. Not out in public when Kash didn't fully understand the social etiquette of this planet. Instead, he reached out with his hand that wasn't carrying his purchases from the day and gently grazed the back of Osirin's with his fingers.
"I'm here, aren't I,' Kash pointed out. "Andorians don't tend to ask personal questions unless they are interested in someone. Or voluntarily meet their families." Kash raised his eyes to look into Osirin's. "I've been wanting to kiss you most of the day, but I don't know the rules here and I don't want to get anyone in trouble."
Osirin stopped in his tracks as he took hold of Kash's hand. "We are a pretty open society here," he said with a cheeky grin, "and I happily admit I've been wanting to kiss you too."
Then he reached over, grabbed the back of Kash's neck and pulled their faces together until their lips met.
Kash's lips met Osirin's with mix of relief and desire, as the tension that has building throughout the day let itself go in this moment, but also gave way to his hunger for more. Kash dropped the bag he was carrying and put his arm around Osirin pulling him into an embrace as he dared to deepen the kiss they were sharing in this public moment for a few more stolen seconds.
He pulled away breathless after a moment. "Finally." He lifted a hand and stroked Osirin's cheek. "You were about to take me
home."
Osirin was a little disappointed they'd had to break the kiss, it had set off fireworks in his brain and he didn't want it to end. But the thought of taking Kash home and meeting his parents cheered him. The thought of them having the house to themselves for a few hours thrilled him even more.
Taking hold of the Andorian's hand he led him our of the downtown area and to a tree-lined street of homes made of stone that was only a few shades darker than Kash's skin.
"Here we are," he said, "would you like a tour of the house first, or should we just go straight to my bedroom?"
Kash looked at Osirin and then leaned forward to speak into his ear. "I'm sure I can take a look around on our way to someplace more private. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to waste a moment that I have alone with you before your family returned from wherever they are today."
"I feel like I'm a teenager again," Osirin replied stifling a laugh. Sneaking around like this, but I think we have time for me to show you around a bit. The Acainus house was an interesting one. It was about 3,500 square feet and quad-level. They climbed up eight steps to get to the entrance level where there was a living room, dinning room and a kitchen, with no obvious replicator. There was a stairway with eight steps leading down to a shuttlecraft bay, another eight steps led down to two bedrooms and a large living room leading out to a patio.
Osirin led him back up to the entrance area and a short flight up to a loft area with three bedrooms. "This one is mine he said leading him into a mid-size bedroom with light plank flooring and a bed about the size of a Terran Queen size bed.
"What do you think?"
"It's nice. I like it. Very comfortable. It's feels like a home and not just another building that happens to have a bedroom in it. It's interesting," Kash said. "Like you."
"I think you're the interesting one," Osirin replied, before embracing Kash again and kissing him a second time, this time just with more heat.
Kash wrapped his arms around Osirin, pulling the two of them even closer together as their kiss deepened. Pulling back to take a breath, Kash spoke in a low voice into Osirin's ear, "I know we just met, but I can't get enough of you right now."
"The feeling is mutual if you hadn't guessed," Osirin said as his hand reached up and stroked the Andorian's left antennae. But we can stop if you want if we're moving too fast. I don't want you to regret anything."
Kash flinched slightly when Osirin first made contact with his antennae. Andorians were very protective of them, injury could not only be debilitating but humiliating as well. As he took a breath he relaxed and smiled. "No regrets. I don't believe in them. Well... unless a hangover is involved. But not this."
Kash's right hand came up to the nape of Osirin's neck, his fingers intertwining into Osirin's hair as Kash leaned in kissing Osirin on the lips then whispering into his ear, "I want to make you feel good."
Osirin had noticed the flinch. He didn't know how Andorians felt about touching that part of their body but he picked up on the other's unease. It was rather obvious even though he recovered quickly and relaxed. His desire was even more obvious.
"Akadians are a pretty versatile people," he replied, "Or I am anyway, you can make me feel good in more than one way. What would make you feel good, it needs to be mutual."
"Is this mutual," Kash asked as he started to take off Osirin's shirt.
"Oh, seven hells yes," Osirin replied as he returned the favor. He then leaned in and kissed the center of the Andorian's right pec.
Kash closed his eyes, enjoying the warm sensations of Osirin's kiss and his body next to his. As they fell into bed together this time it was different between the two of them. The first time they had been two near strangers acting on impulse, the thrill of an attraction that neither of them had stopped to try to explain. This time there was an added tenderness between them and a different type of excitement as they dared to tiptoe into the possibility of something more between them.
As they lay in bed together after Kash breathed in a sigh of contentment. "I could lie here like this with you all evening. How much time do we have?" He asked.
Osirin turned on his side. "That was amazing. You were amazing." He traced a finger down Kash's chest. "They'll be home any minute now, but they aren't going to barge into my room with the door closed. Still, we better get up soon."
"You could stay the night if you wanted," he added holding the Andorians's gaze.
Kash ran his fingers through Osirin's hair. "Your family wouldn't mind?" He asked.
Osirin snuggled closer, which was a bit difficult given how close they already were. "Not at all. It's not uncommon for one of us to have someone over. "
"Not me mind you, I almost never do, but you'll be fine. Nobody is going to say anything."
"Then yeah, I'd like that," Kash responded, nudging Osirin's cheek first with his nose, then with his lips.
Osirin wagged his finger in front of Kash and with mock disapproval stated, "You keep that up and it's liable to start the launch sequence over again."
Kash smiled, "I don't want to make a bad impression on your family. Maybe you should show me how to wear this shirt. Or robe did you call it?"
"A robe, well technically a Na'tar. I'll show you how."
Reluctantly he pulled away from Kash and rolled off the bed and onto his feet.
Kash sat up and pulled out the white Na'tar with blue and rose colored detailing. The stitching was more detailed than anything you'd replicate on the ship. He was sure his friends would have fun with it later, but he didn't mind.
