Trigger Warning, Some Language
Up in orbit, Thivi's brow furrowed. Watching the fight below on the shuttle's sensor feed, she didn't like what she saw. Granted, fights are never nice to watch, but it was what she was pretty sure was causing the fight that worried her.
"That man has enough drugs in him to... well, I shan't say the rest of that." She quips, visibly worried. "He needs medical attention. Immediately."
Over the shuttle's comms, Dani's strained voice responded, "I'm going to try to lure him away from the ship, see if we can get him outside of the transporter scramblers. McKenzie, try to get a lock on us."
Having watched the scene unfolding before her eyes, McKenzie had a moment where she froze on what she needed to do, the anxiety taking over once more. It was gone just as fast as the last part of Dani's voice clipped through and it broke the hold. Her fingers flew over the screen in front of her as she tried to get the beam locked on.
"It's no use, I'm not able to get a successful lock on," She said in an urgent tone, "You're going to need to get him out further. I'll keep trying in the meantime."
Dani pounced on Zaygh's back, causing the disrupter in the Nausicaan's hand to fire aimlessly for the few moments before she managed to get the hypospray to his neck sending him into a dazed slumber. She then grabbed his disrupter and took off at a sprint in the general direction of Fulvia's lookout. Once she spotted cover, she turned around and started aiming the disrupter at the armored Human's feet.
"Come on, you want a fight! Come and get me!!" Dani screamed, before diving behind a cargo container. She poked her arm out, firing off a couple of shots, then ducked behind her shelter again.
"W-WARNING, MAJOR BLOOD LOSS DETECTED. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION" a voice blared into Josef's ear piece. Cutting into his mind along the blur of combat. Quickly, he produced a bloodbag from his bag, affixing it to the right arm of his suit-and just jabbed the attached needle and tube into his right arm-specifically into the pit of his elbow.
He did however wince when those disruptor shots hit him behind cover, their impact lessened by the bulky Kevlar like chest piece he wore-however, that was designed to stop bullets-and not highly advanced energy weapons. "WARNING, SEVERE BURNS DETECTED. MORPHINE ADMINISTERED." And with the hiss of pneumatic valves the already dulled pain was gone. The Exo Skeleton was advanced for its time-but it probably was also not aware how hopped up its user already was. Now even more so.
Turning his head towards Dani, he now saw her as the one who shot him-and therefore a threat. Quickly reloading his Rifle before screaming back at the top of his lungs.
"I'LL GUT YOU, YOU WHORE."
The Cryochamber went flying towards the direction of Trass as it was kicked with hydraulic force. Doing several flips during its travel. Meanwhile several bullets flew into Fulvia's direction.
As for Dani? She now had a pissed of Human barreling towards her. The Exo Skeleton enhancing his speed significantly. It was more like a truck heading into her direction to rip her limb from limb....
"Oh, crap," Dani tapped her commbadge as she took off at another sprint. "Harper to McKenzie, some help down here!"
Trass ducked behind a convenient bulkhead as the cryochamber came rocketing his way, tumbling end over end. As it careened past him, he cradled his head in his elbows in a futile just-in-case gesture to protect his head in case it collided with him. It took him a nano-second to realise it had bounded past him.
Breathing a sigh of relief that turned into a groan of fear for Dani as he saw her sprint off, pursued by that ancient human. He looked to the crude Nausicaan disruptor he had recovered, and dialed its powers up to maximum, and set off in pursuit of them both. Seeing the being gain on his comrade, he levelled the disruptor, firing several shots and clipping it on the leg.
As the shot clipped him on the leg Josef actually let out a pained grunt, stopping and quickly whipping around to fire a 5 round burst towards Trass. Looking down at his singed leg before whipping his head back towards Dani, his mind-being high beyond compare and currently not too big on logical thought quickly resumed his chase.
She had gained some ground, but he was hot on her tail again, and was beginning to catch up. Unsheathing a Tri-Bladed Spiral Dagger in his left hand.
"Dani, I've got the beam locked on to you now," McKenzie had finally managed after five minutes to get the lock on both Dani and Josef. Turning to Thivi, "Lieutenant, do you suggest a separate beam for this guy to put him into a containment field so he doesn't hurt anyone else? And get Dani back here?"
"Yes! Yes, I do suggest doing whatever we need to do to protect him - and us!" Thivi hollered, already rummaging through her medical kit and loading hyposprays. "Please!"
Dani was still running at a sprint when the Transporter locked on to her. When she re-materialized, she was mid-stride, but because her momentum had been halted from the sudden relocation instead of running off of the Transporter Pad she found herself falling awkwardly, one knee hitting the ground hard before she caught herself. Still she was relieved to be safely on the ship. She looked around and saw that the Human-Machine thing had been transported into a temporary containment field, and it looked as though Thivi was preparing medications.
"What, what is he? It?" Dani asked as she brushed herself off. She tried to get up slowly, but found her knee was throbbing, so she hobbled to the nearest seat.
"A human with far too much methamphetamine in his system." Thivi stated, glancing up at Dani as she loaded a hypospray with sedatives. "Sit. Rest. You're next when I'm done with him."
Dani put up a hand, "I'm fine. Nothing a little ice --" she stopped mid-sentence distracted by the Human's antic's inside the containment field.
Josef was pounding against the containment field like a bloodthirsty animal. Having been inches away from grabbing Dani by the throat and driving that spiral dagger through her skull with the aide of a piston. The floor of the containment field slowly being covered in the red, iron rich blood that dripped from his stomach wound-which he didn't even seem to notice. He was pounding and practically punching the containment field while snarling. Any Being would feel some kind of pain and maybe flinch. But he didn't. Practically throwing himself against the energy shield with pure brute force, growing frustrated.
