Mission:
Shore Leave & Ship Repairs
Location: Barisa Prime
Timeline: MD 2 / 1200 hours
When Samuel learned of their destination, he quickly started making plans for himself and Remy. In his search for something they could do, he found the perfect location.
There was a rental listing, for a cozy little cottage, located along the shores of one of the larger lakes on the northern continent. It was surrounded by kilometers of dense forests, with the nearest other sign of humanoid settlement, nearly three days away by foot. After looking through the images of the rustic interior, he knew that it would the perfect getaway for the two of them. After securing the rental for the entire time that Astrea was scheduled to be in drydock, he sent a message to his love, telling her to pack comfortably, and to notify him when her duties permitted her to step away. Once done, they would meet in Transporter Room one, to beam down.
When Samuel had messaged her a few days ago requested 48 hours of undivided attention, she had not anticipated that the ship would be in as bad of condition as it was, nor that they would be docked near a planet that welcomed tourists for shore leave. Even though she was a transporter and a comm call away, she felt guilty leaving the ship at all. She was with her for the last full three weeks of her refit. It didn't seem right to abandon her now, wounded so early in her run. She slung a medium sized khaki backpack over her shoulder, and left her quarters, taking a swing through Engineering before calling Samuel. It was quiet, most of the work being done on the exterior yet, and Nash with his family.
She let out a sigh, and walked toward the turbolift, stopping just before. "Johansen to Samual Wynters. Are we ready?"
===Transporter Room One===
Samuel was already in the corridor, outside the transporter room, when his communicator beeped, and he heard the beautiful voice of his love. Activating the device, he smiled as he replied. "Ready and able, sweetheart. I'm waiting outside the transporter room."
Remy tapped her communicator. "Guess I better move it then. On my way. Remy out." She stepped on to the turbolift and directed it to Deck Two, leaning against the wall for the long ride up through the decks. She realized she was a little nervous. The doors opened near the transporter room, and there he was - as promised.
When the turbolift doors opened, Samuel's back was to Remy. She could see that he was dressed in a pair of blue jeans, which hugged him in all the right places. With it, he was wearing a pair of brown leather lace-up boots, which were tucked under the legs of his jeans. His upper body was covered by a button-up, light blue Oxford, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, his sculpted forearms flexing as he moved.
When he turned to face her, he beamed a radiant smile in her direction. As his eyes moved over her body and outfit, he said, "You look great!"
"You don't look so bad yourself," Remy quipped. She looked down at herself. A utilitarian at heart, she had dressed more for comfort than style in lightweight windbreaker joggers in a steel gray and a fitted top. She didn't think much of the outfit, but her top hugged her curves, which was highlighted by the elastic waist of her pants riding at her hips.
"YOU, though. Are too easy to please," she teased. "Are you ready to show me what you have picked out?"
The El Aurian grinned, then reached out to take her bag. Picking his up with the other hand, he stepped towards the transporter room, the door sliding open at their approach. "With you, I am always pleased." He gave her a quick, flirty wink, then gestured for her to enter first. "After you, m'lady."
Remy rolled her eyes good naturedly as she walked into the transporter room and stepped onto the transporter pad. "You know I can carry my own bag."
"I know," he said as he stepped into the chamber next to her. "It's called chivalry." He winked playfully at her, then nodded to the transporter chief.
In seconds, they had rematerialized on the planet below, standing in a small clearing, the rustic and quaint little cottage in front of them. All around them was forest, filled with the gentle sounds of native wildlife. Behind the cottage, was a large lake, it's water crystal clear enough to see the fish swimming and even the bottom. All in all, the entire location looked like it had been pulled out of a romance story. It was the perfect location for two consenting adults to enjoy themselves in peace and quiet.
Remy paused for a moment to breath in the fresh air and take note of how it felt against her skin. The trees captured some humidity, but there was a breeze coming in off of the water. Once she had taken a mental picture of her surroundings she finally spoke up. "I love being near the water," she said excitedly as she took off at a half-jog half-skip toward the lake's edge.
Samuel smiled as he followed her, placing their bags by the back door of the cottage, before moving up behind her, slipping his arms loosely around her waist, as he leaned in to gently kiss the side of her head, while they both looked out over the pristine lake. "So I did good then with my choice of locations?" He whispered into her right ear.
"It's gorgeous out here," she sighed, leaning back into him. "I don't know what to do with all this quiet. How long do you plan to keep me out here for?"
A hungry growl rumbled deep in his chest as he replied, "If I had my way? Forever." He tightened his embrace slightly, then relaxed it. "However, I know who you are, and it's one of the reasons I love you as I do. So, we will stay here for as long as you wish."
"So what shall we do first?" Remy asked, rocking her weight back and forth, swaying in Samuel's arms.
"Well," Samuel's deep baritone rumbling nicely, "I could make us some lunch..." His voice grew a bit quieter and more suggestive, as he nibbled the side of her neck. "Unless you're hungry for something else?"
Remy turned around so that she was facing him, still keeping close and inside his arms. "We could go for a swim?"
He smiled as he replied. "That sounds perfect. You did bring a suit, didn't you?" He asked with a flirty arch of his right eyebrow.
Remy stepped away from Samuel's grasp. "Of course I did. A good captain always comes prepared," she stated in a playfully defensive voice. Remy kicked off both of her shoes and then reached down to take off her socks, sticking them into her shoes, leaving them in the grass. She reached out her hand and she side-stepped toward the dock. "No one is going to bother us out here though, right?"
Samuel followed suit, going further by pulling off his shirt over his head, his chiseled torso rippling in the sunlight. "No. We are totally alone out here. I paid extra to include a no-flyzone over us while we are here. Thankfully, as there isn't much traffic out here anyway, it won't disrupt the locals."
"Well then..." Remy said teasingly. She turned to skip up onto the dock and quick-stepped to the end of the dock and quickly stepped out of her loose fitting pants, and pulled her shirt over head. "It better not be cold," she called out before leaping off the dock into the water, leaving the rest of her clothes on the dock.
Samuel smiled as he watched Remy start to enjoy herself. He finished removing his pants, the followed her in.
Remy watched Samuel jump in, then dove under the water and began swimming toward him. She opened her eyes underwater enjoying how remarkably clear it was. She swam a circle around him before finally popping her head up immediately in front of him, treading water just inches from his body. "Water's great," she said grinning.
Samuel swam up to Remy and tread water easily. "What is it about water making gorgeous women look even sexier?" He gave her a hungry look at he spoke.
"Just one of nature's mysteries I guess," she said wistfully as she spread her arms out beside her and laid her head back, letting her feet float to the surface. She took a breath to find her center of gravity and then she was floating easily in the water with just the occasional sweep of an arm. "Do El Aurians float?" she asked.
Samuel chuckled. "It can be difficult. As our bones are denser than yours, it tends to make us a bit more like a brick in the water. However, I have seen one or two of my countrymen, who didn't take care of their bodies as much as I do, learn to do so." As he spoke, he treaded water next to Remy with ease, seemingly using only his legs.
"Too bad for you," Remy teased, turning over on her stomach and beginning a modified breast stroke toward the shore. When she could just touch she stopped, letting her toes the bottom. "We should have brought towels," she commented, an almost pathetic look on her face.
He swam up next to her and shrugged. "We could dry off in front of the fireplace? Unless you'd rather stay out here and lay in the sun?"
Remy wrapped her legs around Samuel's waist, the buoyancy of the water carrying her weight as she wrapped her arms around his neck and planted a kiss on his lips. "Mmm, so what do you fancy?" She asked teasingly, biting her lower lip playfully.
An unmistakable look of hunger flashed behind Samuel's eyes. In reply, he wrapped his strong arms around Remy, under her ass to hold her weight, as he walked them out of the water and towards the cabin. Once they were on dry land, he kissed her deeply, moving towards the rear door seemingly on memory alone.
Remy held on to Samuel's shoulders as he carried her in, doing her best to distract him by kissing his neck and nibbling on his ear as he walked.
Growling hungrily, Samuel pressed Remy against the door as they reached it. He moved his lips the hers and kissed her deeply, as he reached for the doorknob. When he found it, he lifted her off the door with one arm, opened it with the other and stepped inside, turning around and planting her against the inside wall. Lifting her hands above her head, he looked at her with a look that was so hot with just, it could melt duranium.
While he held her wrists above her head with his left hand, he grabbed her face with his right one, looking deep into her eyes, enjoying the raging fire he saw burning in them. "You are amazing!" He whispered before reaching over and slamming the door shut. He then lifted her back off the wall and carried her over to the floor in front of the fireplace, which had already been started for them. He lowered them both to the floor, atop a warm, furry synthetic animal hide. He then kissed her again, as he pressed himself against her, slowly becoming one with her.
For the first time since she'd met Samuel, she forgot for a moment about Starfleet duty and responsibility, and didn't think about the fact that her communicator was in a bag outside. She was both in the moment and out of it at the same time, time and space irrelevant as their bodies intertwined and they lost complete track of when it was.
***LATER***
Samuel was on his back, holding Remy against his side, the fire softly crackling behind her. "You are the most amazing woman I have ever met," he said with a soft grin on his face.
"I wish you'd stop that," she responded, her words sounding lazy and tired.
"What?" He asked with a soft grin as he gently ran the fingertips of his left hand up and down her back.
"Saying all these flattering things. The grandiose compliments," she answered, her voice still soft and lazy, her head feeling heavy on his chest. "I can't help but feel so small when I'm with you. You've seen so much, have lived several of my lifetimes. I'm still not even sure what it is I even offer you."
"I only say them, because it's how I feel about you, Rem." He turned his head slightly, so he could look at her face better. "You shouldn't feel ever feel small when it comes to us. To tell you the truth. I didn't come to your ship looking for love. It was just to be another contract with Starfleet Personnel Command. But then, you walked in and felt something. Something I haven't felt in a very long time. You saw me for me. Not because I am El Aurian. That is something very rare for my kind. Usually, when a member of the younger races finds out about us, there's always a bit of standoffishness, as if we are an oddity to be tiptoed around. But you, my beautiful lady...you saw me. So, if I make comments, or behave in such a way that makes you feel elevated, it's because of the joy, acceptance and love that I feel from you."
