Mission: Gone, Without Ever Knowing the Way
Location: Main Bridge, USS Astrea
Timeline: MD 2, 0130 Hours (after Part 5)

Tensions were high on the Bridge as they began to track the ship that Osirin had somehow found his way on board.

"Lieutenant Ral, can you get a lock on them? If they bolt I want to know where they are going," Remy stated.

Daynah looked at the power grid and the puzzle began to unravel. Just have to reroute the secondary through the the sensor grid to boost the power output. Then boost the gain and... she thought. "Yes Captain. I have the sensors locked on if they leave we should be able to track them."

"Ensign Lkhet, bring us in slowly. Lieutenant Ral, lets work on getting his commbadge signal back before we open a channel. There's a chance he could still be undercover," Remy ordered.

"Aye, Sir. Going to One-Fourth Impulse." Quinn slows the ships down, the throb of the engines growing lower as he did.

"Aye Captain." Daynah began to work on the communications array. It took some doing but she managed to piggyback the signal by matching the enemy's transponder. Within moments the speakers on the bridge crackled to life with the crystal clear transmission.

The Bridge was quiet as the transmission started coming through and Captain Johansen perked up as she prepared to memorize every word and try to put it in context as the conversation developed.

A female's voice could be heard coming through the transmission. "Oh no, you two are just getting started." Then a male's voice that resembled Osirin's, "We both have on too many clothes still... [pause] Your turn."

Remy started to address Phaedrae but before she could get much of a word out the crew heard a loud ringing over the transmission followed by an announcement on repeat, "Proximity Alert, Approaching Vessel."

"Damnit," Remy muttered. "Turn that down," she ordered. The captain stood up and looked behind her at the secondary operations station. "Ensign th"Kaasnik, try to isolate any voices out of that transmission, see if you can make out anything out under that alarm."

The Andorian ensign nodded obediently, "Yes, sir," he answered quickly, putting an earpiece and turning back to his station.

"Commander Andersen, Hail them," Remy ordered.

To the rest of the crew Remy directed, "And no matter what, don't let them get away. We'll need to disrupt their cloak before we can even think about risking beaming the sub-commander out. I want all resources available put toward figuring out when and if they are taking any evasive actions."

"Yes, ma'am," Eirly had been waiting for her orders, and pressed the commands into the terminal in front of her to open the comms channel. "Link is established, Captain, visual coming through in three, two, one..."

Quinn kept his hands on the controls, ready to snap into action if that ship so much as twitches.

A rather young woman with a pixie cut appeared on screen, the view was tight around her position at the navigation system, and did not give the Astrea crew a layout of the Bridge.

"You rang?" Mimi crooned, an amused smile on her face.

Remy stood a few steps in front of her seat and took a breath. She hadn't expected the ship to actually answer. Now she had to make a quick decision about how forward to be about their purpose for the hail.

"I appreciate the quick response. I'm Captain Remira Johansen, USS Astrea. I apologize if we got a little close there. We didn't notice you, we aren't in the habit of scanning for cloaked vessels."

"Starfleet, yeah. We didn't drift that far off. We're good, Captain. Bye now," Mimi replied, a flippant air to her voice.

"Wait!" Remy called out. "While we have you. We are looking for someone who might be able to help us with the lay of the land here. Particularly the open market," the captain quickly added. "Maybe you could help us?"

Mimi paused for a moment as she thought about. "Why would I do that? What could Starfleet have that I would possibly want? You guys don't even use real money."

Remy turned her head just enough to get her first officer's attention, giving him a look that indicated he was welcome to chime in.

Catching the sign, Maxun stepped up next to Remy and spoke up, giving the other woman a charming grin. "I'm sure there is something that could be agreed upon? There are other things that could be bartered for and with."

Mimi rolled her eyes, "Look, I don't have any issues with Starfleet or whatever, but people like to do business out here because the Federation isn't out here regulating everything. If word were to get out that I was helping you guys with Freecloud it could be expensive for me. You understand."

The transmission ended and the viewscreen went dark.

Axel's Ship: The Milano

After the rather lengthy kiss had broken, Osirin pulled away long enough to steal a glance at Mimi. "Do you want to join us?" he asked, or do you want me to change places and watch the two of you?"

On board the Milano, Osirin was unaware that the commbadge in his pocket had suddenly come back to life. It wasn't as if Osirin wasn't having fun, or at least that his body wasn't being stimulated. He was and it was. Nevertheless, he hadn't lost sight of his mission, he was compartmentalizing the situation Trying to asses what was going on to see if there was anything actionable, of note in the room, or whatever else was in his line of sight.

After the rather lengthy kiss had broken, Osirin pulled away long enough to steal a glance at Mimi. "Do you want to join us?" he asked, or do you want me to change places and watch the two of you?"

Mimi smiled and shook her head, "Oh no, you two are just getting started."

Osirin was in no position, figuratively or physically to argue and he wasn't sure if he wanted to argue anyway.

"We both have on too many clothes still," he said slipping out of his pants, then underwear, being careful not to damage, or even muffle his com badge.

"Your turn," he said pointing to the other man.

Suddenly a loud ringing blasted throughout the ship and then an announcement accompanied by flashing lights. "Proximity Alert. Approaching Vessel."

Mimi rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Computer navigation, plot an evasive course. Maintain cloak."

She got down from her seat on the table. "This shouldn't take long. Carry on, but don't go too far without me," she cooed, as she made her way to the staircase leading back up to the Bridge.

Jaren went to put his arms back around Osirin's waist.

Osirin muttered several rather colorful remarks in his native tongue and pulled away from Jarin's attempts.

"Don't get me wrong, ' he lied hopefully convincingly, "I don't want to stop, but maybe we should wait until we've dealt with this annoyance He reached down and pulled on a pair of underwear without looking. They weren't his, so they didn't fit perfectly but at least they covered his manhood.

Then, as unobtrusively as possible he began looking for his comm badge.

Mimi appeared at the top of the open staircase. "It's Starfleet. I don't know why they are out here, but I'm going to take us closer to some other traffic. They are being nosy, but I don't think they want to be seen."

"Among my many talents, " Osirin said as he started up the stairs. I'm a pretty damn good pilot." The best lies Osirin knew had some truth behind them and the lie he was currently telling had more than a grain in it. He could, in a pinch pilot a ship. He just wasn't as good at it as he was letting on.

"I can get us out of here better than any automated system," Osirin told them.

"You think?" Mimi challenged with some doubt. "Come try."

The Akadian contemplated putting on more clothes, but decided that could wait Still dressed in just underwear he headed up the stairs.

Astrea

The Captain turned to Commander Spello, "I'm inclined to get him out of there while we can. I can't imagine there is anything over there worth losing an officer over."

Maxun frowned slightly when the screen went black. He then glanced down into his Captain's eyes and nodded. "I agree, Ma'am. Let's get him out and circle back around to finding the items that we came here for."

"Agreed. Everyone, we need to work fast. Anderson, on my mark hit them with tachyon bursts to flush out their exact position, then fire phasers to take out their shields as soon as you have your target," Remy ordered.

"Lieutenant Ral, as soon as you get a transporter lock on the sub-commander beam him back over, do not wait for addition orders, we won't have much time," the Captain added. "If you have trouble isolating, beam the whole party over here, just get Osirin back."

"Aye Captain," Daynah said without looking up from her console. She watched as the scanners attempted to get a lock and had continuously failed to do so. It wasn't until she remembered an old trick for transporting from a cloaked vessel. Daynah had been able to get a general fix but not exact as the transporter lock could not find Osirin's life signs. She filtered the exhaust from the ship and locked in on Akkadian life signs. Suddenly the console chimed its lock. "Captain I have a lock. We need their shields lowered and I can energize."

"Firing tachyon bursts," Eirly replied with a nod, looking between the console and the view in front of them, and watched as the bursts hit their target, causing the cloaked vessel in front of them to appear with a shimmer. "Got them, Captain. Firing phasers to take out the shields too." Another set of commands were issued on the console in front of her and everyone on the bridge could watch as the Milano's shields were hit with phaser fire and came down.

After a few moments of monitoring, Eirly turned to Remy, "Shields are down, Captain."

"Lieutenant Ral --" the Captain said urgently

"Energizing..." Daynah called. "The pattern is slightly out of phase due to the cloak. Compensating." Her hands performed a ballet of sorts over the controls. There was a moment when it seemed that the intensity of the situation was going to get away from her. But then she felt the presence of Alaryc internally and steadied herself. As if on cue the bluish swirl that was on the bridge coalesced into Osirin. "Captain I believe this is your wayward Sub Lieutenant." She said with a broad smile.

Reflexively the Captain called out to her security officer, "Commander Andersen, raise shields! Ensign, if that ship sneezes, stay on their tail."

"Aye. Sensors are tracking now, course is plotted." Quinn nodded confidently, running his hands over the controls, making sure the Astrea would keep up with the Milano.
